Many thanks for your participation in the Quadrennial Fire Review (QFR) crowdsourcing site. The site is now closed, and the QFR team is hard at work incorporating all of the feedback we have received from more than 2,700 people who participated in the 2014 QFR.

At the end of 2013, the QFR was launched by the U.S. Forest Service and the Department of the Interior to explore what the future of wildland fire management will be in 10-20 years. Findings from this study will be reported to the U.S. Congress and will have a lasting impact on policy and decisions made by Federal wildland fire managers. If you want more information on the QFR and how crowdsourcing was used to reach out to broad audiences, visit the QFR Frequently Asked Questions.

If you have any additional questions about next steps in the QFR process, please email the QFR team at [email protected] The final report is expected to be released in late Fall 2014.

Thank you again for your interest and participation!
